Photos from Peru

Here are some photos from the last couple of months in Peru.

Vacation with Mel... photos from the Plaza de Armas in Lima and the Floating Islands in Lake Titicaca

I was house-sitting for some missionaries and didn't want to live by myself, so had Zenaida and her daughter live with me... we organised a dinner for Ruben, Zenaida's brother who is Yesenia's godfather... and for the meal, he had guinea pig and we had chicken!

One year old parties are a BIG deal in Peru... I went to Eliasif's First Birthday... and he got a guinea pig from his grandparents!! YUMMM....!

So, it's been an interesting couple of months. I have been seeking God's guidance for my life and after much prayer and talks with SIM, I've decided to move to Lima. It has been a tough decision as I have been preparing to come to Abancay for quite a few years... but through this I have learnt to totally trust in God's plans for my life and not my own plans.
I have about a week here in Abancay before I head to Lima and then to Australia for my brother's wedding. When I come back from Australia, I will look for an apartment, church and settle into ministry in Lima with university students, young women and short-termers. Please pray for this transition. I am looking forward to what God has planned for me as I continue to follow Him wherever He leads.

Thanks for the update and will be praying for your transition period in Lima...It is certainly not easy to settle in a new place after coming back from home....However, God's grace is sufficient for us!
